Lucifer on Netflix: God wreaks havoc in the trailer for part 2 of season 5

Scheduled for May 28 on Netflix, the second part of season 5 of Lucifer promises to be explosive. The platform has just unveiled an enticing trailer in which God is going to wreak havoc in the lives of Morningstar and her brothers.

Initially scheduled for early 2021 and postponed because of the health crisis, the second part of season 5 of Lucifer will finally land on Netflix on May 28. The platform has just unveiled an explosive trailer.

We had left the Lord of the Underworld in bad shape at the end of the first part of season 5 since the hero played by Tom Ellis saw God (Dennis Haysbert) land. The latter being the father of Lucifer and his twin brother Michael but also Amenadiel (DB Woodside), his arrival risks causing many family conflicts.

The second part of season 5 will resume directly after God arrives on Earth and will welcome interesting guests. Rob Benedict (Supernatural) will play a mercenary who will cross paths with Chloe and the Los Angeles police, Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights) will play Carol Corbett, a detective who will join the LAPD and who will get closer to Ella.

Finally, Merrin Dungey (Alias) will play Sonya, a cop who will have a strange connection to Amenadiel, and Brianna Hildebrand (Trinkets) will slip into the shoes of Rory, a rebellious and anguished angel who hopes to follow in Lucifer’s footsteps.

The new Lucifer episodes will also take a closer look at the relationship between Chloe (Lauren German) and Morningstar, the two having finally come closer to the delight of fans. The biggest obstacle to their romance remains Morningstar’s inability to articulate her feelings clearly.

For her part, Ella (Aimee Garcia) is still upset that her ex-boyfriend Pete (Alexander Koch) was in fact the Whisper Killer, the serial killer who was rampant in Los Angeles. Even if she managed to escape his attack and lock him behind bars, Ella will have to rebuild herself after this umpteenth sentimental failure and could well twist.
