Our favorite robbers are back soon! Netflix will broadcast part 1 of season 5 of La Casa de Papel on September 3.

The start of the school year will be under the sign of red suits and Dali masks. Netflix has just unveiled the launch date for season 5 of La Casa de Papel, its blockbuster series. It will also be divided into two parts: the first 5 episodes will be visible from September 3 and the second salvo on December 3. The platform accompanied this announcement with a short video to say the least … explosive.

This season 5 of La Casa de Papel will be the last and if we are to believe these images, our robbers will have to escape from the Bank of Spain under a hail of bullets. Will any of the characters suffer the same fate as Nairobi (Alba Flores), who died in the previous season?

Nothing is certain but what we know is that they will have to fend for themselves. They can no longer count on the help of the Professor (Alvaro Morte), who has been compromised since Alicia Sierra (Najwa Nimri) managed to find her hiding place …

“When we started writing Part 5 in the midst of a pandemic, we realized we had to move away from what viewers might expect from a 10 episode season. We therefore used all the tools at our disposal to create the feeling of the end of the season from the 1st Volume. We started out on a very aggressive style, putting the gang in dire straits. In Volume 2, we focus more on the emotional state of the characters. It is a journey through their states of mind that links us directly to their departure ”, explained Álex Pina.
