Guest on the set of the show “There’s Something About Movies”, actor Mark Strong recently told how a drunken night with Daniel Craig had prevented him from getting a villain role in the James Bond saga.

Guest on the set of the show There’s Something About Movies, famous British comedian Mark Strong recently revealed that he had tried to play a villain in the James Bond saga, several years ago.

An audition that unfortunately went very badly for him because of the few excesses he had done the day before:

“I auditioned to play a villain in a James Bond movie, during the Pierce Brosnan era”, thus told the actor. “I learned my lines, and then, to celebrate, I went out for a drink and had a binge. I overdid it and the next day I had a serious hangover.

Despite his condition, the actor explains that he still tried his luck and passed the casting. A painful moment that he still remembers today:

“I walked into the room, and there were about 8 people sitting behind desks. I started, and then I forgot my lines. I couldn’t remember. (…). I was sweating, it was a terrible experience, but I really learned a lesson. “

Even if he did not specify for which James Bond with Pierce Brosnan he had tried this audition, Mark Strong still offered a spectacular fall to his story by revealing that he had in fact spent this drunken evening in company. .. from the future 007:
