Hunger Games: a Game of Thrones actor joins the prequel

Tom Blyth is Coriolanus Snow

He’s the British comedian Tom Blyth who slips into the skin of the young Coriolanus Snow. A role played by Donald Sutherland in the saga adapted from the novels by Suzanne Collins.

The prequel centers on his youth and his encounter with District 12 tribute Lucy Gray Baird whom he has to coach during the Hunger Games. The actor is currently in the cast of the series Billy the Kid, in which he holds the title role and appeared in the series The Gilded Age.

Casca Highbottom is the dean of the Academy and the creator of the Hunger Games. When the games launched, Highbottom served as the face of the event. A great friend of Coriolanus Snow’s father, he is a central character in the story of the future President of Panem.

Already seen in the series The Witcher where she embodies the young Murta, Lily Cooper plays the role of Arachne Crane, a young girl from the Capitol, a classmate of Coriolanus Snow at the Academy. She is selected alongside Snow to be a Mentor during the Hunger Games.

Jason Schwartzman is Lucretius ‘Lucky’ Flickerman

Jason Schwartzman was cast as Lucretius Flickerman, the host of the Games and ancestor of Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci), the presenter of the Hunger Games in the previous installments.

The favorite actor of Wes Anderson should be as eccentric as his descendant since he is described as being “clownish” and particularly fond of magic tricks. In the novel he wears a high-necked blue suit adorned with rhinestones and his hair is dusted with copper powder.
