How did Amy Roloff meet Chris Marek
Season 16 Episode 2 of Big World saw Amy openly admit to a friend she was insecure about her height and how she felt about dating again. After being married for so many years, she said it was very difficult to get back into the dating scene. She did manage to get back into the dating scene and attended Paint and Sip, a singles mixer. Chris was also there, but they didn’t get along at first.
The event saw singles split into two groups, and Amy was paired with Bob. Amy shared her reservations at the mixer and said, “I’m definitely Learning, as intimidating as it may be to be single, be adventurous, I know, take a risk.” You just need to learn how to be vulnerable.
Although things didn’t go according to plan for Amy and Bob we know that the event allowed her to meet Chris. Chris later asked Amy if Amy would like to ride with him on his bike, and from that point on the two began to date.
Amy Roloff will be joined by Chris Marek on August 28.
Amy shared a sneak peak with People that she and Chris decided to marry on Roloff Farms after considering all options. Ex-husband Matt owns the farm. She said that Chris and she had made the final decision about the venue and they will be getting married at Roloff farms.
Amy shared the reasons why she chose to have her wedding ceremony at the farm. “COVID came into being because I believe a lot people changed or canceled, so other places kind of eroded away and plan B became Plan A,” she stated.
Amy and Chris’ nuptials may be televised, so that fans can see the happy couple saying their I do’s at the farm.
