Please note, the following details the plot of the sixth episode of the House of the Dragon series, available on OCS. If you haven’t seen it yet, and don’t want to know anything about its content, then you are strongly recommended to stop reading this article now.
Jump in time obliges, several characters of House of the Dragon have changed performers on the occasion of the sixth episode of the series, conceived as a distant prequel to Game Of Thrones. With in the first place, Princess Rhaenyra Targarien – previously played by Milly Alcock – and now embodied by Emma D’Arcy.
While the young Australian actress managed to win the hearts of viewers amidst the show’s first five episodes, it was an understatement to say that some form of pressure rested on Emma D’Arcy’s shoulders when it came to taking on the next generation for this oh so central role in the series.
But judging by the reactions posted by Internet users on social networks, the challenge seems to have been met with flying colors, a finding that also applies to Olivia Cookenew interpreter of Queen Alicent instead of the actress Emily Carey.
My opinion on the episode of #HouseOfTheDragon:
THE BEST EPISODE, the series is unimaginably perfect.
I was expecting this episode a lot and it’s just great, I’m already a fan of Emma d’Arcy en Rhaenyra. pic.twitter.com/muzc7nTNBH

the 10-year jump has been ultra beneficial, the series is moving up a gear; et les actrices adulte de Rhaenyra et de Alicent sont juste impeccable #HouseOfTheDragon

offers us one masterclass per week. The exciting political intrigues are at the center.
Emma D'Arcy and Olivia Cooke are brilliant as Rhaenyra and Alicent.
This series is clearly the series of the year! pic.twitter.com/AdfNDb62eV— Gaetan Desrois (@DesroisGaetan) September 26, 2022
