ETHAN ACCUSES SOLAL OF DOPING
Early in the morning, Axel tells his uncle that a student is using doping products. Emmanuel then instructs him to find out who it is and to keep him informed if he learns anything. However, the young man does not want to denounce anyone. He just wants to understand what happened at the party. This is not the case of Teyssier who wants a name as soon as possible.
During Chef Cardone’s class, Axel also shares his discovery with Ethan. The latter confides in him when he saw Solal taking medication discreetly during the competition.
Axel later confronts Solal. The young man claims that he does not take doping products and even goes so far as to tell him that the so-called drugs are actually vitamin C. Solal then shows himself to be deeply hurt that his friend could believe him capable of something like that.
Even though Ethan and Jasmine believe that Solal had every reason to take doping products, Axel decides to take his friend’s word for it anyway.
In the kitchen, second-year students must work in pairs to make a vegetable-based recipe with brown icing. Jasmine is very enthusiastic and has many ideas for this course. She then offers Deva to go with her, but the latter prefers to work with Kelly. Axel’s girlfriend then asks Amber who declines, preferring to cook with someone she trusts. According to her, Jasmine is totally under the influence of her boyfriend.
After class, Jasmine confronts Deva about her behavior. The student then criticizes him for spending too much time with the first years while their promotion is being humiliated. According to her, the young woman should show more solidarity. However, Jasmine comes to her boyfriend’s defense again and explains to him that this is all Chef Teyssier’s fault. Deva can’t bear to hear her protecting Axel like that anymore and prefers to leave. In the distance, Ethan heard the whole conversation.
Ethan confides in Jasmine that he didn’t think his first days at the institute would turn out like this. For her part, the young woman is convinced that the situation will not get better between the two promotions until they have found who attacked Tom. The Cardone son does not fail to remind him that they already have a good idea of who it really is. He also wonders if they shouldn’t tell someone what they know.
Meanwhile, Amber is already aware that Solal is on medication. Indeed, the young man tells him bluntly that someone saw him take pills during the entrance examination. Amber urges him to tell Chef Teyssier the truth but Solal doesn’t think that’s a good idea. According to him, the principal will not hesitate to fire him from the institute if he learns the truth. And then, Solal is certain that Axel will not betray him.
At the end of the day, Ethan sends a message on the institute’s WhatsApp group in which he accuses Solal of doping and of having assaulted Tom. At that moment, all eyes turn to him.
CLAIRE AND OLIVIA BECOME GOOD FRIENDS
Olivia and Claire interrupt Eliott and Greg in the middle of a morning nap. The two chefs have a proposal for them: cook live a seasonal toast with poached quail eggs that Internet users could reproduce. And if the recipe may seem easy, poaching quail eggs is quite technical and Greg has not mastered it. It would even seem that the student is affected by a curse since he constantly misses this achievement. Eliott, who really wants to participate in the live, promises them that they will train together.
Unfortunately, Greg and Eliott cannot make the recipe. The two young men therefore offer the chefs to present the live during which they will teach them the recipe at the same time as the Internet users. Olivia and Claire are quickly convinced.
During the live, the chefs and the students have a great time. The recipe is a success for their greatest pleasure. Then, Claire and Olivia meet a little later for a coffee. Chief Listrac wonders where their relationship would be if Maxime hadn’t rummaged through Louis’s affairs and if Chief Guinot hadn’t defended her son so much. For her part, Claire believes that this story is now in the past. Indeed, things have changed since then since she stood up to her son and did not go to his engagement. Olivia then confesses to her that she hopes to be able to cook with her again since she had a great time.
VIC BECOMES THE NEW CLERK FOR THEO
During the lunch service at the double A, chef Théo reflects on Mehdi and Hortense. He then lets his brigade know that nothing should be released in theaters without him having checked beforehand. For his part, Lionel finds that the young man has taken on a big head since his trip to London. He then has fun making a few remarks but the chef surprises him. The student then tells him to relax, which does not pass at all with Teyssier’s son who asks him to leave his kitchen.
Lionel is changing in the locker room when he is joined by Vic and Billie. He explains to them what happened in the kitchen and considers that the Teyssier son unfortunately looks more and more like his father. Without hesitation, Vic defends Theo. His reaction makes Billie laugh a lot who thinks that her friend is not insensitive to the charm of the young Teyssier. Vic assures him that this is not the case, specifying that he simply wants to join his brigade.
A little later, Emmanuel warns his son about his behavior. If he recently won the Vatel prize, he must not forget that he will always be inferior to Clotilde, Claire and him. He then asks her to stay in her place and above all not to make waves. Meanwhile, Vic has witnessed the scene and is quick to support Theo at the departure of his father. According to her, he embodies the new generation of chefs who are making things happen. The young woman also takes the opportunity to reiterate her desire to work with him and presents herself as motivated and ambitious. The young chef then ends up taking her on as a clerk, but she had better not disappoint him.
