Monday, May 24 in Here everything begins …

Following Teyssier’s ultimatum, Mehdi agreed to follow the experimental protocol and did his first chemotherapy with Hortense. When the young man is seized with a slight dizziness, she gives him a hot CBD drink to alleviate the effects of the treatment.

Later, Marianne informs Mehdi that he can return to the institute while awaiting his next session. However, Dr Delcourt warns him that it is necessary for him to rest for the treatment to have a chance to work. Unfortunately, if the young man has agreed to play the game, he nevertheless refuses to spend the weeks he has left confined in a bed.

Back at school, Medhi immediately goes back to work. Although his mother insists that he rest, he swears that everything is fine. Desperate, Lina meets Antoine and tells him about the situation. While she would like the principal to lighten her son’s schedule so that he can rest, Antoine is against it.

Meanwhile, Hortense joins Mehdi in the kitchen and gives him a new notebook in which he can draw his new ideas. Without wasting a moment, he writes down all his ideas. When he then shows them to Teyssier, the latter makes him understand that his desserts lack soul. After telling him how he came up with the idea for his signature log, the pastry chef says that his dessert must come from the guts and not from the head.

At the end of the day, Lina is with Teyssier. Wishing to force her son to rest so that he has a chance to heal, the mother asks the pastry chef to make her son believe that he has managed to make a signature dessert.

It is an evaluation day for the students of the institute. Once she has divided them into pairs, Clotilde explains that they will be noted on a recipe for rack of lamb in a crust. For his part, Lionel refuses to touch meat since he became a vegetarian which annoys Charlene, his partner, who thinks that his friend is lying out of laziness.

Thereafter, Lionel confides to Greg that he is blocking the meat since the course of the chef Listrac. While he does not know how he is going to continue cooking, Greg promises to work with him as much as possible in order to avoid him touching the meat as much as possible.

At the same time, Clotilde warns Teyssier and Antoine of the incident that occurred with Lionel. If the principal points out that they will have more and more vegetarians in their ranks and that it is their role to train modern chefs, Teyssier does not see it that way. And to add that he plans to summon Lionel to make him understand that he has no other choice but to respect the rules, otherwise he will be fired.

While they hoped to avoid each other after their breakup, Greg and Eliott are drawn to work in pairs on a cooking test based on trust. The two young men will therefore have to make a kadaif of langoustines where Greg will be blindfolded and will have to let himself be guided by Eliott.

During the complex stage of dressage, Greg plays along and they successfully pass the test which earns them congratulations from Chef Guinot who declares that there is a beautiful chemistry between them. Words that Greg really like.

At the end of the course, Greg finds Eliott in the gardens of the institute. As they still have feelings for each other, son Delobel says it is difficult for her to live without him. When Eliott retorts that it’s time for them to turn the page, Greg feels that his ex is using his asexuality as an excuse because if he had really loved her, they would never have separated. Eliott can swear he did this to prevent them from hating each other in the future, Greg says it’s unfortunately a good start.
