Wednesday April 28 in Here everything begins …
TEYSSIER WINS THE CULINARY DUEL
As he had a retro-bulbar optic neuritis the day before, Constance urges her husband to postpone the culinary test. Although he is aware that this is serious, Teyssier wishes to win the direction of the Institute before anything else.
For her part, Claire accuses Clotilde of having tampered with the proofs so that Teyssier can be at the head of the establishment. Chef Armand then points out to him that she is giving him the opportunity to redeem a legitimacy and then finds Teyssier to understand what happened during the pastry test. While Emmanuel blames Louis on him, Clotilde expresses serious doubts that he can beat Claire on the cooking test.
During the duel, the two teams are busy achieving the imposed recipe. To stand out, Teyssier decides to add vanilla to the sauce despite Louis’ disapproval. The bet succeeded for the pastry chef who won the event thanks to his daring which won over the members of the jury. Therefore, he becomes the new director of the Institute.
MEHDI AND HORTENSE HAVE AN OPEN-HEART DISCUSSION
Happy to find the one who has been in her thoughts since the day before, Hortense kisses Mehdi. Uncomfortable, the young man puts an end to their story, claiming to have no feelings for her. In tears, Hortense leaves to confide in Maxime and Eliott. Crossing his comrade later, Eliott asks him why he rejects the young woman in this way. Mehdi, who is very moved, declares that he does not want to hurt her but Eliott points out that it is playing with her the way he does to her.
Shortly after, Mehdi explains to Eliott that he cannot go out with Hortense because he will die soon and that he refuses to make her suffer. On the advice of his friend, Mehdi then takes his courage in both hands and joins Hortense in the dormitories. The young man indicates that he is getting weaker and weaker because of his leukemia and that it will get worse over time. Because he loves the way she looks at him, he doesn’t want her gaze to change when the disease takes hold.
But for Hortense, it is not for him to make this decision for her, especially as she says she is able to take a lot of things before throwing that she will never let go even if it ends. Since it is important for her to know how he feels, Mehdi admits that he experiences something that he has never felt for anyone. Hortense then takes him in her arms and kisses him tenderly.
GREG IS IN A TURN
After having a drink with Virgil, Greg failed to take the next step. In reality, the son Delobel has no desire to make love for the first time with a man other than Eliott and even less to perfect his sex education with a guy who does not care. To help him cross the course, Eliott accompanies Greg to a cafe where they meet Virgil. If the latter does not usually sleep with virgins, he says he is ready to make an exception for Greg. But the son Delobel changes his mind, preferring to return with the one he loves. Back at the Institute, Greg knows he will have to meet other people in the future but prefers to wait before starting over.
