Expected on August 18 in our theaters, “Snake Eyes”, spin-off of “GI Joe”, finally comes out of the shadows with a handful of photos, which suggest that a trailer could arrive shortly.

Paramount Pictures France

With a ninja as the main character, it was no surprise that Snake Eyes kept a low profile. But the GI Joe spin-off, postponed from fall 2020 to summer 2021, could not remain in the shadows forever, and it is revealed today thanks to a photo game. Which allow us to see the hero embodied by Henry Golding, the Baroness (Ursula Corbero from La Casa de Papel) or even Scarlett (Samara Weaving).

Characters that we had seen in the previous opus, but with other performers. And for good reason: this new opus is also presented as a reboot. And it was the German Robert Schwentke (Flight Plan, Red, Divergente 2) that it was entrusted.

If the plot has not yet been revealed, everything suggests that we will be dealing with a origin story who will return in particular to the past of Snake Eyes, as well as his conflict with Storm Shadow, here played by Andrew Koji, star of the Warrior series.

If we can only assume at the moment, we will probably be fixed soon. Because a trailer usually arrives very quickly when a studio unveils the first photos of one of its upcoming blockbusters in this way. And then you will have an appointment on August 18 in the dark rooms to reconnect with the universe of GI Joe, according to the famous toys of the same name, on the big screen.
