Fed up with TV series and auteur cinema, Emilie Semiramoth does not also hide her penchant for pop culture in all its eccentricities. From the bromance between Spock and Captain Kirk in Star Trek to the disillusionment of Lynch’s Mulholland Drive, she ignores gender boundaries.

As the filming of House of the Dragon, the prequel to the Targaryen family, has just started, another Game of Thrones spin-off is brewing …

The madness around Game of Thrones never ends! The filming of House of the Dragon has been underway for a few weeks and the first photos have already been unveiled. Last March, HBO announced floor on three new spin-offs …

Here is that among them, 10,000 Ships has just found its screenwriter: Amanda Segel Marks. Known for having been the executive co-producer of Helstrom and Person of Interest, she will therefore trace the fate of Princess Nymeria.

Specifically, this drama is expected to follow the journey of the warrior of royal blood, i.e. Princess Nymeria, and the surviving members of the Rhoynars, a people descended from the First Men. Together, they left Essos to take refuge in Dorne after their defeat against the Valyrian fiefdom in the Second Spice War.

This migration took place approximately 1000 years before the events described in the series of novels The iron Throne. And if the name of Nymeria arouses some memories, it is precisely because Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, named her wolf after this famous warrior princess.
