This Thursday, May 27, the cast of “Friends” will meet for an evening more than 15 years after the end of the cult series. Broadcast in the United States on HBO Max, this exceptional program will be offered in France on Salto and TF1.
This is the event of the month: HBO Max will broadcast this Thursday, May 27 the special episode of Friends, entitled “The Reunion”, which will see the actors of the cult series meet for an exceptional evening. 17 years after the end of the sitcom, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer are going to dive back into the memories of the time and unveil some anecdotes from the shoot.
As the trailer unveiled last Thursday, many French fans of the sitcom wondered where they could legally watch this exceptional reunion.
According to our colleagues from Puremedia, Friends: The Reunion will be available exclusively on the Salto streaming platform at the end of the week, following its US broadcast. Still according to the site, it will then be necessary to wait a few days before discovering this episode on television since it is TF1 which has acquired the broadcasting rights in prime time.
The dubbing should be done by the original French voices of the sitcom. For the moment, no exact date has been communicated by the channel, but it is a nice blow for TF1 which currently offers reruns of Friends on TFX.
