During this month of July, you may have already discovered the cartoons of our previous Gulli special recommendation and you are now looking for new programs that will appeal to the little ones as well as the whole family. This time, we invite you to discover cartoons that are just as amusing as they are totally crazy, available in full and free of charge (without advertising) on ​​the France.tv website or on the channels of the France Télévisions group.

Abraca and Firmin.

Immerse yourself in a fantastic, funny and crazy universe, with abraca. This 12-year-old girl is an apprentice magician from the world of Imagi. She leaves her master Don Quixote and goes through a magic well to the famous witch Carabosse who will teach her to master her powers. On Earth, she befriends the witch’s grandson, Firmin, who is passionate about video games.

Together, they will try to help the characters of fairy tales and legends, freed from prison by Don Quixote, to solve their problems. The prince and the frog, the little thumb or the hen with the golden eggs, discover the surprising and hilarious rewrites of the stories that rock children.

Abraca is a production of the MadLab Animations studio (also known for Garfield Originals) inspired by the eponymous video game. The studio is a subsidiary of Ankama Animations which created the cartoon wakfu. Besides, you will notice that the appearance of the characters of the two programs is quite similar.

  • Character wickedness and manipulation

Yanissa (her best friend) and Paul.

At 10, Paul goes to school, plays video games, bickers with his little sister, rides a scooter… In short, a very normal child! Except that as soon as an adult says to him the words “Me at your age”, Paul is immediately propelled back to the time when his interlocutor was also 10 years old! And opportunities to hear this sentence, there are many, because Paul has a large family and many adults who gravitate around him.

Matt, Lou and Charlie in Monster Chores.

In Monster Chores, Matt, Lou the ghost, and Charlie seek to master the techniques they need to replace the world’s most famous (and oldest) monster hunter performing his bizarre chores. The house at the end of the street, that of old Helsing the “barjo / dingo of the neighborhood“, actually contains a secret portal leading to magical worlds!

Over the episodes, the trio will help Helsing in all these monster hunts. Witches, werewolves, goblins or even ghosts, the heroes will have to face their greatest fears to in turn become talented and recognized monster hunters.

This cartoon that looks like Ghostbusters, will allow the youngest to wonder if the redemption of monsters is possible. Indeed, Chores monsters proves on several occasions that appearances are sometimes deceiving! And beware of the monsters who start to terrorize the population again after being released from prison, because they could well be arrested again by the shock trio.

Dorothy in The New Adventures of Oz.

Find the universe of Wizard of Oz with The New Adventures of Oz. One morning, Dorothy finds a strange magical journal that belongs to her mother under the slats of her home in Kansas. When she recites a formula indicated on the notebook, a tornado takes her home to the enigmatic and sumptuous Emerald City (this one will make you think a lot of Robotville in the animated film robots).

Transported to another world, the young girl will do everything possible to return home. During this journey, Dorothy will have to face with her friends Ojo and West and her dog Toto, many formidable dangers. Between intrepid flying monkeys and an evil manipulator, his quest to find the magic necessary to leave the City promises to be strewn with pitfalls.

disco dragon is a real breath of fresh air and good humor! The fabulous Disco has an extraordinary superpower: he hears the inner music of children. When his ear itches, it’s a signal that one of them needs his help. With Betty, they always manage to find a solution to rediscover the lost harmony of the little ones. It is certain that music fans will be amazed by this cartoon.

The little extra of this program is to find one of the most famous voice actors in France in the role of Disco: Emmanuel Curtil. Of jim carrey at Ben Stiller, you must have heard his voice before! Moreover, you will recognize him very easily if you or your children are Disney film fans since he plays the character of Kronk in Kuzco, the Megalo Emperor. Disco Dingo is a real nod to this role which makes a point of honor to the groove (which will not fail to remind you of the groove of our dear Emperor Kuzco).
