Eternals trailer, Oscar winner Chloe Zhao’s Marvel movie with Angelina Jolie and Salma Hayek

Discover a spellbinding first trailer for the Marvel movie The Eternals, worn by Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek and Kit Harington.

After a teaser of about fifteen seconds unveiled at the beginning of May, The Eternals unveils this time a real very intriguing trailer!

After triumphing at the Oscars with Nomadland, winning the statuettes for best film and best director, Chloé Zhao turns the essay by directing this film for the Marvel team.

These first images are in any case very mysterious, shrouded in a contemplative atmosphere, in the pure style of the filmmaker.

When these desert people glimpse the spaceship at the start of the film, it almost feels like the vibe of The Rider and Nomadland comes to Marvel. After this somewhat disconcerting moment, we get to know the different characters.

Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, Gemma Chan and Barry Keoghan will be the heroes of this feature film scheduled for November 3. They play respectively Ikaris, Ajak, Thena, Black Knight, Sesi and Druig.

Belonging to an ancient race of human beings, the Eternals, who can manipulate cosmic energy, were created by the Celestials in order to protect the Earth.

Following the events of Avengers Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them to emerge from the shadows to unite against Mankind’s oldest enemy, the Deviants.

The Eternals team

As we can see in the trailer, The Eternals was shot more in natural settings than the majority of the House of Ideas blockbusters. A good thing when we know the propensity of the studio to use green backgrounds.

While it looks different from other Marvel-branded feature films, The Eternals are sure to bring a touch of humor unique to the MCU, as we can see at the end of the trailer.

While waiting for this feature film, which will be released on November 3, superhero fans can check out Black Widow on July 7 and Shang Chi on September 1.
