Demon slayer: already in the top 10 of the most profitable films in japan!

What was still a dream a few days ago is gradually turning into a credible goal. Released seventeen days ago in Japan, the film Demon Slayer: The Infinity Train continues to dominate the Japanese box office: with more than 129 million euros raised and a total of 11, 9 million viewers already won over, the feature film is already ranked in the Top 5 of the most lucrative anime in Japan, but also in the Top 10 of films in all categories!

Will the feature film adapted from the manga of Koyoharu Gotōge exceed the record all-time currently owned by Spirited Away and its 23.5 million spectators? Only time will tell, but still, at the end of its seventeenth day of operation, Demon slayer for the moment exceeds the figures reached during this same period by Hayao Miyazaki’s film.

A true social phenomenon, remember that Demon slayer became the most popular manga in Japan this year, surpassing One Piece sales; the series – created in 2016 – now has more than 100 million copies sold worldwide, although the absolute record remains held by the manga of Eiichiro Oda (more than 470 million volumes sold since its creation in 1997! ).

Demon Slayer: Infinity Train currently has no release date in France. The first season of the animated series can be found on the Wakanim platform; the manga published by Panini currently has twelve volumes.
