Delete Me on CANAL +: what is this very dark series on revenge porn? – News Series on TV

CHANNEL +

“Delete Me” immerses itself in the hell of a victim of “revenge porn”.

Less conventional than its counterparts, fiction is distinguished by its staging which recalls the ambition of Euphoria or the cinema of Gaspar Noé. She tries out many things with original effects and shots like the use of snorricam – a system that allows the camera to be hung on the performer’s shoulders so that he can film himself.

The plot, for its part, is told backwards, the first episode being the end of the story. The whole point of this process is to find out how the drama really started. Composed of 7 episodes – each lasting 30 minutes -, Delete Me is a series that quickly becomes addictive, while moving away from pure entertainment.

Aimed at a rather mature audience, the program combines dark and difficult sequences. It is above all an opportunity to discuss the revenge porn – the posting of a video of a sexual nature without the consent of the person who appears in it – a topical problem amplified by the presence of social networks in today’s society.

In addition to its necessary subject, Delete Me reveals two talented young actresses, Thea Sofie Loch Næss and Amalia Holm, and establishes itself as one of the foreign series not to be missed.
