Jake Finn (who worked at La Petite Maison, Coya and The Ritz) finally opened his first Cinder restaurant in Belsize Park, after being delayed by lockdown restrictions. With a Josper grill at the heart of the restaurant, Cinder is all about fire-cooked food, so you can expect dishes like seared tuna with dark beer ponzu and radish, lamb skewers marinated in yogurt. and maple syrup, grilled mastelo cheese with kalamata icing, whole sea bream with fennel and radish, thin apple pie with vanilla cream, served with wines from The Modest Merchant. Currently, only the 16-place terrace is open with the opening of the 16-place dining room on May 18th, so make the most of it.
