Chucky: a horrific trailer for the series adapted from the cult franchise
The famous bloodthirsty doll that delighted horror lovers in the 1990s is back on the small screen! In this series produced by Syfy, a high school student who inherits the cursed doll decides to take her to high school …
Initiated in 1988 with the film Child’s Play, the horrific Chucky saga, in which a doll possessed by the spirit of a serial killer slaughters the relatives of those who own it, will make its televisual comeback this year!
In Chucky, a teenager, Jake (Zackary Arthur, revealed in Transparent), acquires the redhead doll during a garage sale. As he gradually falls under the influence of the doll and becomes an outcast in his high school, a series of sordid murders begins to spread throughout the city.
In this contemporary reboot in ten episodes signed Don Mancini (behind the screenplay for the first seven films with the exception of the Child’s Play reboot released in 2019) which is in the spirit of the films of the 1990s, the actress Jennifer Tilly will take over the role of Tiffany Valentine she held in the saga, alongside Alex Vincent and Christine Elise.
Finally, Brad Dourif will also be back behind the voice of the Evil Doll, whom he portrayed throughout all eight films. The American channel Syfy will broadcast the ten episodes of the series from October 12th.
