CBSE Class 10 English Syllabus 2023-24: The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the detailed and latest syllabus for the English Language & Literature subject for Class 10th for the current academic session 2023-2024. With the release of CBSE Class 10 English Syllabus 2023-24, students can start preparing themselves for the board examinations which will be conducted at the end of the session. One of the most scoring subject that overall increases your aggregate and percentage is English, which is as equally important as other main subjects. The CBSE 10th English syllabus 2023-24 is divided into two parts: Communicative English and Language  & Literature. Students must go through the entire syllabus to learn more about the chapters and topics to be prepared this year.

  1. Four out of Five Short Answer Type Questions to be answered in 40-50 words from the book FIRST FLIGHT
  2. Two out of Three Short Answer Type Questions to be answered in 40-50 words each from FOOTPRINTS WITHOUT FEET.
  3. One out of two Long Answer Type Questions from FIRST FLIGHT to be answered in about 100-120 words
  4. One out of two Long Answer Type Questions from FOOTPRINTS WITHOUT FEET on theme or plot to be answered in about 100-120 words

The CBSE 10th English Syllabus 2023-24 is prescribed in such a way that it enables teachers to assess students’ interpretation, analysis, inference and evaluation. It also involves analysis of students’ creativity, imagination and extrapolation beyond the text and across the text.
