The American channel CBS has just announced the renewal of several of its flagship series, in particular “NCIS”, “Bull”, “Blue Bloods” and many others.
After several months of suspense, CBS has just announced the mass renewal of several of its flagship series, including NCIS, whose fate was so far still very uncertain. Mark Harmon will therefore be back for a season 19, thus silencing the rumors that had been circulating for a few weeks about his desire to say goodbye to Agent Gibbs.
The American chain has also ordered a season 4 for the reboot of Magnum worn by Jay Hernandez and Perdita Weeks, while the ex-interpreter of the famous mustache detective, Tom Selleck, sees Blue Bloods, the series in which he plays the Policeman Frank Reagan, being renewed for a season 12.
For their part, SWAT and Bull will return respectively for a season 5 and a season 6. The renewal of NCIS: Los Angeles for a season 13 has still not been confirmed by the chain, while a third spin- off of NCIS, taking place this time in Hawaii is currently in preparation.
As a reminder, last February, CBS announced the cancellation of NCIS: New Orleans after 7 seasons. Worn by Scott Bakula, the iconic Sam Beckett of Code Quantum, the series has never managed to find its audience and match the popularity of its two “sisters” NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles. It became the first series in the franchise to be canceled.
Previously, the American channel announced the renewal of Bob Hearts Abishola, The Equalizer, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, The Neighborhood and Young Sheldon for additional seasons.
