Bringing Community Spirit & Live Music Back On The Map with Soundboks

With our recent Hangout event with Soundboks, we already got a taste of what it means to bring our own community together this summer. And let me tell you, it’s about time – because it was so damn good! We really missed being together without any worries in the world and having fun with some laughs, good drinks and dancing.

With their new series of On The Map events, Soundboks wants to continue to make this happen for all the different communities around the city’s artists and creators. And by city I’m not just talking about Berlin, this year they are also expanding their activities to Hamburg and Stuttgart. And being a brand of speakers, what is most important to them is of course the music. So they invited some of the most talented emerging talents to perform and invite their fan communities to come together for a good time. These events are designed for performers who couldn’t perform and venues that couldn’t open during the pandemic – it’s time to bring them back to the map.

In Berlin, they have already kicked off their series with a live session from the wonderful AYA who poured her heart into the microphone at the new Napoleon Komplex location in Modersohnbrücke. It was a beautiful setting and an amazing atmosphere – it reminded us of Lie Ning’s concert last year at Hallesches Haus.

But if you missed On The Map’s first gig, don’t be sad, as there are more events happening this month on August 15, 16, and 20. And all of this awaits us with great talents and incredible places.

Sunday August 15th

Kosmo Kint at Piccolo Giardino

The former New Yorker Kosmo Kint brings some of his future magic RnB to the Piccolo Giardino of Small pizza at the Rosenhöfe in Mitte and we can’t wait. The location is one of the most charming backyards in the Hackesche Markt area and we think it will be the perfect ambiance for Kosmo Kint tunes. Also, I heard that there will be 50 free pizzas in the air… If you would like to participate in this event, click on the registration link below.

Time: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
