Warner Bros. has just announced the release date changes for its next feature films. Thus The Batman with Robert Pattinson, supposed to be released on June 23, 2021 is postponed to October 2021 (the 1st in the United States). The shooting of Matt Reeves’ film, which was held in London, was suspended last March due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
The Flash directed by Andy Muschietti and carried by Ezra Miller is for its part advanced, it will be released in early June 2020 instead of June 29. Shazam 2, the sequel to the adventures of Billy Batson, a teenager capable of becoming an adult superhero when he says the word “Shazam!” with Zachary Levi is postponed for several months. David F. Sandberg’s film will therefore be released in November 2022 instead of March 30, 2022. Wonder Woman 1984 is still announced on August 12, 2020.
But the studio has not pushed back only the DC films since, The Many Saints of Newark, the prequel feature film Sopranos will no longer be released on November 4, as previously announced, but in March 2021. For its part, biopic dedicated to Elvis Presley directed by Baz Luhrmann is moved one month, so it goes from October 6, 2021 to November.
