Best time to visit Bardiya National Park
The park is open throughout the year but if you want to see tigers then the best time to visit is from February to July. It is also the summer season and the temperature rises up to 42 degrees Celsius, so keep yourself hydrated.
How to reach Bardiya Park?
By air: You can fly to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu which is the only airport with international operations in the country.
by road: It takes about 12-15 hours from Kathmandu to Bardiya National Park and buses run daily from Kathmandu and Pokhara to Mahendranagar via Bardiya.

2. Trek through the jungle
Treks in Bardiya range from half-day treks to overnight excursions. One can hire guide services for these treks and forest walks. Full day treks are best with greater chances of spotting wildlife. One is not allowed to stay inside the park during night tours and travelers are required to rest in the buffer zone.

3. Go rafting and fishing
If you are looking for some adventure then you can go rafting in the Karnali River. The river flows through spectacular valleys, secluded beaches and gorges.
