Just two weeks ago, iHeartBerlin guest author Daniel wondered where Berlin ravers were partying without clubs and vice versa, what Berlin clubs were doing without raves. While these questions have been quite relevant in recent months, we have just witnessed an almost incredible change.

The latest development in the choppy narrative of Berlin’s gradual reopening is the re-emergence of some clubs, especially those with outdoor spaces. Not just as a funky alternative to beer gardens, but as a true party destination. Of course, Covid-19 regulations apply, so be prepared to leave your details at the door and include a face mask as a mandatory addition to your outfit.

Rumors are true! You can party again in Berlin’s most legendary club. Good kind of. While the interior is expected to soon be transformed into a unique art gallery, parties are held in the garden.

The famous sex-positive techno party at Alte Münze is back and has announced its first Corona-compliant outdoor party in the backyard for September 5th. Tickets will only be available in limited quantities through online sales.

Else is also back with quite a bit of great outdoors. This Thursday, they’re even hosting a 2020 edition of Bordel Des Arts, where you can get a socially distant tarot reading. Check out their Facebook page for the latest news.

For those of you who want to experience something new, look no further: OXI Garten is the recent site that some Berliners have already adopted as one of their new favorite outdoor spots. Check out their Facebook page to see which artists are playing there.

Sisyphos has always been known for its unique outdoor space, so it can be reasonably expected that the club will come back alive as soon as Corona rules allow it. And Sisyphos did not disappoint: apart from other events, they currently host weekly “Live am Strand” concerts. Check out their current program here.

While it cannot be said for sure whether the current security measures that allow these outdoor parties are sufficient to avoid or handle the second wave of the pandemic, official parties with certain regulations are likely to be safer than the ones. illegal raves in Hasenheide. We hope for the best. Have a safe holiday!
