Apple unveils a secret feedback app.
Sensor Tower, a research company, first launched the Siri Speech Study app on August 9. It is available in several countries, including the US. The app cannot be found by searching the iOS Appstore or browsing the Appstore.
Contacted by TechCrunch, Apple stated that the app was only available to invitees. You can’t simply find it and start using it. It will take you to the app if you are invited. This is basically a link to access the license agreement and a screen to enter your unique ID number.
This new Siri app will allow those users who are selected to give feedback directly to Apple. The app will allow them to see the list of Siri requests they’ve made and provide feedback on any request they choose. Apple will appreciate feedback if a Siri request ends up with incorrect information or command. Apple only collects the feedback users choose to send back; Apple does not receive any other information.
This survey app should help Apple get Siri up and running. Siri will continue to be a problem for iPhone and iPad users for some time.
