We’ve all gotten used to shopping online, but Anya Hindmarch is ready and eager to bring people back to her physical stores, so much so that she is launching a whole new retail concept. The Village, which opens in May on Pont Street in Knigthsbridge, is a collection of five Anya Hindmarch stores that will become the destination for the brand’s experiences, exhibitions, collabs and collections.
The Anya Cafe, its version of the British café par excellence, will be at the heart of The Village, alongside The Village Hall, a concept space where the first pop-up will be a hair salon offering “Shampoo & Therapy”; The Plastic Store, a space focused on sustainability and the home of the “I Am A Plastic Bag” collection made from recycled plastic bottles; The Labeled Store, a space dedicated to the art of organization which will also sell the “Labeled” collection; and The Bespoke Store, which will offer bespoke personalized pieces. Basically it will be a one stop shop (or should it be the street) for everything Anya Hindmarch is about.
