The Bold Type (2017)

Inspired by the life of the former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitant, The Bold Type, halfway between Girls and The Devil wears Prada, tells the daily life of three New Yorkers determined to climb the ranks of a successful women’s magazine. Don’t be put off by its appearance girly misleading: the series tackles feminist issues head-on such as male gauze, harassment at work and slut shaming, but turns out to be joyful and full of optimism when she tackles the movement body positive and the sense of foolproof sorority between these three resolutely modern heroines.
