The organizers of the Alpe d’Huez Comedy Film Festival – supposed to be held from March 23 to 28 – have just announced that the event was canceled because of the health crisis. “The health crisis we are going through, its consequences, its measures, and the current lack of perspectives given to the cultural world and to the Mountain sector will not allow the Alpe d’Huez Comedy Film Festival to offer an edition classic for the year 2021.

A Label to accompany films when they are released

An online version is not possible for this kind of unifying event centered on sharing and laughter, an “Official Selection Label – Alpe d’Huez Festival 2021” will be associated with the films that are part of the official selection. in order to accompany the comedies at their theatrical release.

The list of films in the official selection for this 24th edition – which was to be chaired by Michèle Laroque – will be communicated shortly. Last year it was Divorce Club of Michaël Youn who won the Grand Prix.
