Announced in 2018 and developed by the Madrid team of Pendulo Studios, “Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo” unveils the trailer of its story. The title is expected on December 16.
In March 2018, Microids, the publisher’s video game label Anuman Interactive, signed an agreement with Reeder Brand Management, based in Los Angeles, for permissions to reproduce the name and image of legendary director Alfred Hitchcock and elements of the film Cold Sweats.
In the process, Microïds also announced the development of a video game freely adapted from this major work of Alfred Hitchcock by Pendulo Studios, a Madrid-based development studio famous for its Point’n Click trilogy of adventure games Runaway, released between 2003 and 2009.
After unveiling a teaser last June, the game Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo Take it up a notch by revealing a story-centric trailer this time around that will accompany the players.
This new trailer, made only with footage from the game, introduces Ed Miller, a writer unscathed from a car accident, now in the throes of intense dizziness. Convinced that he has just lost his wife and his daughter during this event, Ed begins, suspicious, a therapy which will lead him to confide gradually with a psychiatrist: Dr. Julia Lomas. This one will have to face the reluctance of her patient to delve into the meanders of her memory in order to discover the end of this story. In parallel, the players will follow the investigation of Nick Reyes, the sheriff of Cerro Lake, determined to shed light on Ed’s accident, and who will be led to discover new disturbing elements …
Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo is expected on December 16 on PC. The PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions will be released in 2022.
