TF1 will launch in a few days the shooting of “Stolen Service”, a punchy TV movie adapted from the eponymous book by Isabelle Demongeot, raped for nine years by her trainer. Julie de Bona (“Plan B”) will play the former number 2 of French tennis.
After science fiction in Plan B, whose broadcast has just ended, Julie de Bona will try her hand at biopic with Stolen Service, a new TV movie intended for TF1 which will start shooting in a few days and which will see her lend her features. to Isabelle Demongeot, the former tennis player who filed a rape complaint in 2005 against her former coach.
Directed by Jérôme Foulon and adapted from the book by Isabelle Demongeot Stolen service, a champion breaks the silence, published by Michel Lafon editions, this unitary punch will retrace the race against the judicial clock of the former number 2 of French tennis to make the truth triumph, more than twenty years after the rapes she suffered when she was 14 years old at his 23 years old.
For three decades, Isabelle Demongeot, a young female tennis prodigy promised to a glorious future, was silent. Totally under the influence of his trainer. It is in a doctor’s office, at the dawn of her forties, that she is suddenly caught up in her past. The question is asked: was she really the only one? Isabelle has always been convinced of this. But now she needs to get to the bottom of it.
She then launches headlong into the search for other potential victims. With the help of a gendarme, she managed to collect around twenty testimonies, two of which were not prescribed. Isabelle Demongeot was one of the first to have the courage to denounce and highlight the scandal of sexual violence in the world of sport.
In her book, the ex-tennis player, professional in the ’80s and’ 90s, seeks to understand how it happened and why she has been reduced to hiding her past for so long. Through her courage, she allowed other victims to speak out in many disciplines, both professional and amateur.
Written by Jérôme Foulon, Sophie Deschamps, and Claire Lemaréchal, and produced by Pachli Productions and GMT Productions, Service volé will be filmed from June 9 to July 12 in Saint-Tropez and Paris.
Samuel Labarthe, in the role of gendarme Frank Maraval, Laurent Lucas, in the skin of Tony, Isabelle’s trainer (whose name has been changed for the purposes of this fiction), but also Elodie Navarre, Florence Pernel, François Loriquet, and the young Jade Bestagno, who will play Isabelle as a child, complete the cast of this telefilm which should make a lot of talk.
Julie de Bona is not unemployed after the success of Plan B since, in addition to Stolen Service, she will also continue with the event series Les Combattantes, for TF1 always.
