UN Women UK is launching a new virtual gallery of original artwork that explores a safer reality for women and marginalized people. After new data showing that the majority of women and girls in the UK experience sexual harassment in public spaces, they are calling for changes under the Safe Spaces Now project. It will feature artwork from over 1,000 women and girls representing the voices, stories and ideas shared within the UN Women community in the UK, including everything from photography to protest banners to original songs and slam poetry. The doors will open on April 2 and it’s free to take a look and show your support.
