A Nail Biter’s Review of the Kiss Gel Fantasy Nails
They feel like real nails, so you can trim and file them down to make them look the most natural. I ended up shortening even the shorter ones I bought a bit. The result was nails that looked like acrylic, fresh out of the nail salon. And all of this for less than $ 10.
Although it took me a while to choose the size of my nails and trim them, it doesn’t take longer than driving to the salon and having them professionally done. Plus, it saves a lot of money.
My advice for beginners is to polish your nails a bit in advance so that the glue sticks longer, in addition to avoiding putting glue on the end of the nail, as it will eventually stick to your skin and to feel uncomfortable. Nails look foreign the first day or so, but you get used to them enough to appreciate how perfect they are. Plus, best of all, your natural nails get a chance to rest and recover underneath if you bite your nails like me.
So, my verdict? If you have an upcoming (socially distant) date or event, your next best bet for going to the nail salon is to try out the Kiss Gel Fantasy Nails. Buy the ones I used below!
