Ten years later, in 2015, the actress stopped her career for a year to devote herself to her father, who had a lung transplant. A year that will finally last three, as she told Health Magazine in 2020:
“It was supposed to take a year because that’s how long it takes to check that a transplant works. A lung transplant is the most difficult of all, because it’s a very delicate organ. It was supposed to take a year, but I became my dad’s health advocate. The predicted year became two, then three. And thank God the prayers have been answered, he’s been healthy for over five years.”
However, the actress resumed the path of the sets in 2017 for what they had and 55 steps, in which she holds the leading roles. In 2020, she is shooting the Netflix series Away then Fatal of Deon Taylor.
