5 Things You Should Do While Looking For A Job – Work It Daily

Anyone who has ever been unemployed (or looking for a job) while busy) knows how stressful and exhausting job hunting can be. Should you feel guilty about your job search for taking some time?

The short answer: no. Of course not.

When we don’t spend every waking moment applying for jobs, it is sometimes easy to feel guilty – like we’re not doing EVERYTHING to get our next job. This strategy of applying for as many jobs as possible and hoping for the best doesn’t really help anyone get a job any faster. In other words: choose quantity over quality. This is the wrong attitude that does more harm than good.

Job hunting is about working smarter, not harder.

Think about a normal working day. It’s pretty even, isn’t it? You get up, go to work, come home, and you still have hours in the day to do what you want. Your job isn’t the only thing you do in your life. That’s why it’s called Work-life balance. Summarize something …

Your job is not your whole life. So it shouldn’t be your job search either.

Here are some ways you can take your time when looking for a new job (because you deserve it!):
