The cult scene in which Kevin looks at himself in the mirror after putting on aftershave has inspired a renowned director: Xavier Dolan. In Mommy, released in 2014, Steve (Antoine Olivier Pilon) reproduces these gestures almost identically. Another anecdote: Macaulay Culkin simply had to slap his hands on the cheeks, and immediately remove them. “But on the first take he slapped his face and kept his hands glued together like he just put some super glue on it and it was great”Said director Chris Columbus.
Released at the end of 1990, Mom I missed the plane ! blows its 30th candle in 2020. Beyond the sacred blow of old that it makes us take, this anniversary is the occasion to remember this cine object which could not be more cult.
